Being
Rattihallians we should be proud of our hometown. Though
it is a village it has attained so many firsts in our
district as well as state. The biggest advantage of
Rattihalli is educated human resource. Rattihalli is
the only village, which is having highest number of
educational institutions in Haveri district. Not only
in quantity but in quality also these institutions have
achieved a lot.
Model Kannada
Boys School is also one among them. This school has
started in February 1854. Coming February 2004 this
school is celebrating its 150th anniversary. In the
beginning this school was started with few students.
Now it is emerged as one of the biggest higher primary
schools in Hirekerur taluq, having 600 students and
16 teachers. It has got several awards for its outstanding
performance. Recently it has rated as the Best School
in the taluq.
Several
students who have passed out from this school topped
in various examinations. Even in extra curricular activities,
always Kannada Model School of Rattihalli stood first
and bagged so many awards.
