The only existing
High school before 1965 was SK High School. Here Urdu
was not taught Inspite of providing Urdu teachers from
the Anjuman. Then the Local Muslim realized for the
need of a separate Urdu High School.
Abdul Khudus
Khatib, (Reserve Bank Bangalore) and Mohd. Ibrahim Saheb
Saikalgar (Lecturer Bidar) went to F.H. Mohasin Saheb
and discussed about opening the Urdu High School in
Rattihalli. In June 1965 they made a branch of Hubli
Anjuman to open the Anglo Urdu High School in Rattihalli.
As a Headmaster M.M.Shaikh was called from Hubli to
execute the opening ceremony of Anglo Urdu High School.
In the beginning
only teacher with help of Urdu Higher Primary School
teacher was running the High school. They were Mohamed
Gouse Savanur, Mohamed Jafar Khatib, Sahebjan Khazi
and Chaman Saheb Savanur. In the year 1968 high school
got the grant. For the building construction donations
were collected from the people. In this work Janab Mohammed
Gouse Saheb, Baba Saheb Savanur were the main people,
and the people of Rattihalli helped and worked hard
together to this institute and hoping same in the future
to the improvements of our institute. |
